This dried ale yeast is of Belgian origin. Selected for its ability to ferment Belgian style beers, it can produce fruity and spicy flavours. Depending on the temperature of fermentation, a range of aromas can be produced from darker fig notes through to lighter tropical and banana. Typically suited to Belgian beers of all colours.
This dried yeast produces good amounts of lactic acid and flavour compounds without the risk of contamination compared with kettle souring. Simply add the brewing yeast of your choice after reaching the required pH.
