Our congratulations go out to Cumbria’s excellent Dent Brewery, which has won the prestigious SIBA North West Bronze award for Best Bottled British Bitter up to 4.4% with their Aviator ale. The brewery’s best-selling ale, Aviator is an expertly balanced blend between crystal malt and Northdown hops, a classic real ale.
We heard the good news from Keith when he mailed in to reorder a consignment of our premium Trent Fermo Ale yeast.
“I just wanted to let you know,” Keith told us, “that after switching to the Trent Fermo Yeast our flagship bitter Aviator won bronze in the SIBA competition for best bottled bitter in the North West.
“There were over 93 different bottles entered from all over the North West, so winning an award at this level is no mean feat!”

As from 5pm Thursday 28th March our offices and factory will be closed for our annual Easter Break, this break will continue through to Tuesday 2nd April.
