We are pleased to announce that NicheSolutions, working in conjunction with our sister company Brewers’ Ocean in the Netherlands, can now offer brewers a full range of analytical testing and microbiological services.
Our state-of-art laboratories are equipped to provide you with fast and reliable analysis of your beers and water – no more waiting for results, wasting valuable time.
Results will be provided within five working days of our lab’s receipt of your sample. They will include analysis of all the key variables in any brew, along with other specialist data. Our popular 4-point beer test covers the main requirements.

— Final gravity – specific gravity (Plato)
— IBU
Further testing available on request, including: Colour EBC; water analysis; gluten testing (UKAS) accredited; and further specialist tests for mould, wild yeast and bacteria.
How do you provide your sample for analysis?
Firstly, please get in touch via telephone or send an email to ordersniche@aol.com, to let us know you are using the service. By return, you will receive a submissions form to print out and fill in your details of the analysis you require. By post, send us a 250ml sample of the beer you would like to be tested, along with your completed submissions form. Make sure the sample is securely packed, double bagged!
What will you receive in return?
Initially, we will acknowledge by email the safe receipt of your sample. Within five working days of receiving your sample, our lab will email their analysis, presented on a form similar to the example below. It really couldn’t be simpler – or quicker!
